New York Yankee Baseball cards from the 1950's and 60's

Modern Baseball card collecting began in the 1950's. Bowman and Topps began manufacturing baseball cards in the early 1950s and continued through the decade. Topps kept making baseball cards for over 50 years now. These early sets produced some of the greatest stars baseball has ever known and more than a few dawned the Yankee Pinstripes. Hall of Famers like Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford are among some of the great Yankee players to first appear on baseball cards in the 1950s.
